LEAGUE OVERVIEW:
YOUTH LEAGUE
AGES 10-14 | GRADES 5-8TH
5 ON 5 FLAG LEAGUE.
EACH TEAM IS ALLOWED A MINIMUM 5 PLAYERS AND MAXIMUM 10 PLAYERS.
EACH TEAM MUST HAVE 5 PLAYERS ON THE FIELD.
HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE
AGES 15-18 | GRADES 9-12TH
7 ON 7 FLAG LEAGUE
EACH TEAM IS ALLOWED A MINIMUM 7 PLAYERS AND MAXIMUM 14 PLAYERS.
EACH TEAM MUST HAVE 7 PLAYERS ON THE FIELD.

GENERAL RULE OVERVIEW:
NO CONTACT ALLOWED (EX: TACKLING, BLOCKING, STIFF ARMS, SCREENING, PUSHING)
PLAYERS MUST PULL ONE OR BOTH FLAGS TO BE CONSIDERED A “TACKLE”.
PLAYERS MUST TUCK IN GAME JERSEYS. FLAGS MUST BE WORN OVER JERSEYS AND BE ACCESSIBLE.
EACH GAME IS 41 MIN IN DURATION.
THE CLOCK WILL STOP AT HALF TIME AND THE FINAL MINUTE.
HALF TIME IS 1 MINUTE IN DURATION.
IN THE FINAL MINUTE, THE CLOCK WILL BE STOPPED AT EACH DEAD BALL.
THE REFEREE WILL PERFORM A COIN TOSS BETWEEN 2 CAPTAINS BEFORE THE GAME.
THE BALL WILL BE PLACED ON THE 40 YARD LINE GOIN INTO THE END ZONE.
THE REFEREE WILL BE THE SPOT OF THE BALL.
EACH TEAM RECEIVES (1) 30 SECOND TIME OUT PER HALF.
ONE ADDITIONAL 30 SECOND TIME OUT PER OVERTIME.
THE QUARTERBACK WILL SNAP THEIR OWN BALL. (EX: KEEP BALL IN HAND).
THE QUARTERBACK HAS 5 SECONDS TO RELEASE THE FOOTBALL.
THE QUARTERBACK IS NOT ALLOWED TO RUN.
THERE ARE NO RUNS/HANDOFFS ALLOWED.
DEFENSE CAN ONLY RUSH THE QUARTERBACK ONCE PER DRIVE.
INTERCEPTIONS ARE RETURNABLE (ANY GIVEN SITUATION).
THE BALL IS RULED DEAD WHEN A FLAG IS PULLED, THE BALL HITS THE GROUND, THE BALL CARRIER STEPS OUT OF BOUNDS, OR BALL CARRIER’S BODY TOUCHES THE GROUND (EX: NOT INCLUDING HANDS AND FEET).
OFFENSE WILL BEGIN WITH THE BALL PLACED ON THE 40 YARD LINE.
OFFENSE WILL RECEIVE 4 DOWNS TO GET A FIRST DOWN.
FIRST DOWNS ARE MADE BY CROSSING THE 25 YARD LINE.
OFFENSE WILL RECEIVE 3 DOWNS TO SCORE AFTER PASSING THE FIRST DOWN LINE.
TURNOVER WILL RESULT IN REPLACEMENT AT THE 40 YARD LINE.
ALL MINOR PENALTIES RESULT IN A 5 YARD LOSS.
ALL MAJOR PENALTIES RESULT IN A 15 YARD LOSS AND/OR EJECTION (JUDGEMENT MADE BY REFEREE).
TOUCHDOWNS ARE 6 POINTS.
ALL TEAMS MUST GO FOR 2 POINT CONVERSIONS.
2 POINT CONVERSIONS WILL BE PLACED AT THE 15 YARD LINE.
OVERTIME WILL BEGIN WITH A COIN TOSS.
OFFENSE WILL BEGIN AT THE 25 YARD LINE AND HAVE 3 DOWNS TO SCORE.
BOTH TEAMS WILL BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO SCORE.
BOTH TEAMS MUST GO FOR 2 POINT CONVERSION AT THE 15 YARD LINE.
DOUBLE OVERTIME WILL BEGIN WITH A COIN TOSS.
OFFENSE WILL BEGIN AT THE 15 YARD LINE AND HAVE 1 DOWN TO SCORE.
BOTH TEAMS WILL BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO SCORE.
THERE WILL BE NO 2 POINT CONVERSION IN DOUBLE OT.
TRIPLE OVERTIME WILL BEGIN WITH A COIN TOSS.
OFFENSE WILL BEGIN AT THE 5 YARD LINE AND HAVE 1 DOWN TO SCORE.
BOTH TEAMS WILL BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO SCORE.
THERE WILL BE NO 2 POINT CONVERSION IN TRIPLE OT.
IF IN ANY SITUATION, BOTH TEAMS SCORE IN TRIPLE OVERTIME, THE RFEREE CAN DECIDE TO REDO THE TRIPLE OVERTIME MATCHUP OR MARK THE GAME AS A TIE.
